Allegheny County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)
Allegheny County CASA is one of 900 programs nationwide who advocate for abused and neglected children. CASAs are appointed by the Judge to represent a child in court and to speak up for their best interests.

Allegheny County SafeKids Coalition
a coalition dedicated to the prevention of unintentional injuries to children from birth to age 14 in Allegheny County.

Allegheny Intermediary Unit
The Allegheny Intermediate Unit is an education service agency and regional partner, providing customized programs and services to advance the quality of life for all learners.

Alliance for Infants & Toddlers
The Alliance for Infants and Toddlers is the single point of contact for entry into the early intervention system in Allegheny County. The Alliance Provides service coordination for children from birth to their third birthday at no cost to families. If you feel that your young child (under 3) is not developing at the same rate as other children and may be developmentally delayed, he/she is eligible to have a developmental screening and multi-disciplinary evaluation by AIT.

Achieva (formerly ARC Allegheny)
Supports children and adults with retardation and other developmental disabilities for almost 50 years.

Autism Society of Pittsburgh
provides information and referral and advocacy services for autistic individuals, their parents, famlies and professionals who work with them. Sponsors the S.P.E.A.K. annual summer program for autistic children.

Autism Support and Advocacy in Pennsylvania
provides information on autism from the perspectives of inclusion, self-determination and social justice.

Center for Family Excellence
works with individuals, children and families to prevent and reduce child abuse and neglect, promote healthy child development, improve parenting skills and provide family support services.

The Children's Institute
the region's leading comprehensive rehabilition facility dedicated to serving the special needs of children and young adults.

Citizen Care
Providing supports and services to people with developmental disabilities since 1975. Also serving children and families through Allegheny Children's Initiative.

Family Services of Western Pennsylvania
dedicated to fostering the capacities and skills in families and individuals to direct their lives and help to create a productive, caring community.

Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh
provides a wide variety of programs for the community.

Jewish Family and Children's Service
a comprehensive set of services are offered to families with children with special needs, and are tailored to meet the specific needs of each child.

KidsVoice
Protecting Children's Rights. Founded in 1908 as the Legal Aid Society of Pittsburgh, KidsVoice provides the full-service advocacy that every abused, abandoned, voiceless and vulnerable child deserves. KidsVoice guides each child through the court process and ensures that every agency involved meets the full range of the child's needs.

The Lois Kaplan Charitable Foundation for the Preventon of Child Abuse
A charitable foundation that supports programs aimed at preventing child abuse through education and counseling.

Make-A-Wish Foundation of Western Pennsylvania
fulfills the favorite wish of any child between the ages of 2-1/2 and 18 who has a diagnosed life-threatening illness.

Office of Child Development
The University of Pittsburgh's office which works in partnership with faculty and the community to enhance the welfare of children, youth, and families.

Parent and Child Guidance Center
provides clinical treatment, testing and consultation services for children and families as well as therapeutic pre-school for young children with long term/complex needs.

Parental Stress Center
The Center is dedicated to family growth through parenting education and support for the mission of preventing child abuse and negelct.

Pittsburgh Child Guidance Foundation
a private foundation that supports services for children ages birth to 12 who reside in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

The Seesaw Center
a nonprofit indoor play center for children of all abilities, from infancy through kindergarten age, with special emphasis on toddlers and preschoolers.

Spectrum Family Network
Spectrum Family Network is committed to being a leading provider of therapeutic community and family-based services for children and families.
